Certified Nursing Assistant
o       CNAs (certified nursing assistants) are entry-level nurses that assist registered nurses and doctors with patient care. CNAs often work to gain nursing experience while preparing for a nursing degree. CNAs earn an average of $24,000 per year.

Licensed Practical Nurses

o        LPNs (licensed practical nurses) assist registered nurses and doctors with more advanced patient care, such as taking vital information from patients. LPNs earn an average of $36,000 per year.

Registered Nurse (Associate Degree)

o       RNs (registered nurses) can become licensed with just an associate degree. However, earnings for RNs with associate degrees are usually much lower than those with bachelor's degrees. RNs with associate degrees earn an average of $40,000 per year.

Registered Nurse (Bachelor's Degree)

o       RNs with bachelor's degrees are not licensed to perform more services than those with associate degrees, but the average salary for an RN with a bachelor's degree is $57,000 per year.

Nurse Practitioner
